Carl Harman - Youth Leader
Mona Harman - Youth Leader, VBS Camp Director and Ladies Luncheon Coordinator.
Carl & Mona Harman started attending the MU Wesleyan church in 1993. This was the turning point in their lives where they connected with Jesus and wanted to serve and follow Him wholeheartedly. Carl has served on the board in several positions and has been involved in various work projects and community outreach events. He started working with youth in 2005,. He loves connecting with the teenagers, as well as having fun and sharing Jesus with them. He also likes to hike, fish, kayak and hunt.
Mona has served in the church in many positions over the years. She and her husband Carl lead the youth and she has been the VBS director for over twenty years. In addition to youth and VBS, Mona also volunteers at MU Wesleyan by co-hosting the Ladies luncheon once a month, teaching Sunday School and Junior church and helping with Backyard Club. She also does a great job of keeping the church clean. She loves flowers, gardening, baking, cooking, planning, painting, mowing grass and taking care of their home.
David Bailey - Youth Leader
Brittany Bailey - Clubhouse Diector
David started attending Mount Union Wesleyan Church through the youth group around 2006. This is where he met his wife Brittany. He has an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies from Lancaster Bible College. David is a business manager for Workers United MARJB. In his spare time he loves his derby cars, enjoys hunting, working with his hands and spending time with his family.
Brittany is the proud Momma to four children and the wife of David. She is busy keeping her household running and planning for our weekly Clubhouse events. She is a creative and a patient leader. In her “spare” time she is busy crocheting and making beautiful earrings to help pay for her daughter to attend private school.
Nick Prough -Technical Director
Kelsey Prough - Worship Leader
Nick currently works at Mifflin County School District as a Webmaster. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology with a Bachelor’s Degree in Gaming & Simulation. Nick helps with all things technical. He also has served on the board and volunteers in our Clubhouse ministry. In his spare time he loves playing video games, drawing, and woodworking.
Kelsey currently works as a an Instructor of Youth Projects for the TIU-11. She is a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary & Kindergarten Education. In her spare time she loves to garden and read.
Pastor Dan and Sandy Metz
The Lord brought Pastor Dan and Sandy to the beautiful mountains of Pennsylvania where they began serving the Mount Union Wesleyan Church on July 1, 2019 .
Dan and Sandy enjoy doing ministry together. They are the proud parents/grandparents of three sons and nine grandchildren.
Dan is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University (1988) and an ordained elder in The Wesleyan Church (2011). Dan has also had previous careers in landscaping, municipal utilities, and information technology. In his spare time he likes to hike, camp, work outdoors, and do hands-on labor of all kinds.

Danielle Ruby Children’s Ministries Director
Danielle graduated from Messiah College in 1997 with a K-12 PA teaching certification in Health and Physical Education. She teaches 1st & 2nd grades at Calvary Christian School in Huntingdon. Danielle is the leader of our Backyard Ministries at Chestnut Terrace and often teaches Children’s church. In her spare time she enjoys reading, hiking, and camping. She is married to Jeremy and has three grown children.
Shandra Worthy -
Celebrate Recovery Director
Shandra is a grateful believer in Jesus and has been in recovery for over two years now. She is passionate about telling people about Jesus and recovery. She is currently taking classes through Kingswood University in order to become a licensed minister in the Wesleyan Church. She also volunteers in our Clubhouse ministry on Wednesday nights. She is the proud mom of four children and is married to Neal. In her spare time she likes to read, bake/cook, exercise and take walks outdoors.
